ABOUT US
Ajuni is the answer to modern Kashmiri embroidery. A craft from Jammu and Kashmir that remains underrepresented and often reduced to mass produced forms.
We create directly in the valley, working close to the source, and reimagine this heritage for today. We do not change tradition, we make it relevant, exciting, and desirable for a new generation.
Kashmiri embroidery is fading not because the craft is losing value, but because it hasn't been designed for the women of today.
At Ajuni, we are rethinking how this craft exists.
Ajuni is designed for the modern women who values softness as much as strength. Someone who is thoughtful, expressive and connected to her roots, but not defined by them.
She dies not wear culture for display. She wears it because it feels like her.
HAND
CRAFTED
Every piece is made with attention, care, and handwork. Some pieces are fully hand-embroidered. Others combine artisanal techniques with modern construction. Nothing is mass-produced. We work closely with artisans and makers in Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on consistency, detail, and finish. This is what modern Kashmiri aari looks like. Thoughtful, wearable, and made to last.
SUSTAINABLY
PRODUCED
We produce in limited batches to stay intentional and reduce excess. Each design is made in small quantities. Once it is sold out, it is not recreated. This allows us to avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste, while keeping every piece considered and special. Less volume, more meaning.
PURE
ART
Ajuni is an artisan-first brand. We focus on creating consistent work and opportunities for artisans, while bringing their craft into a more relevant, modern space. This is not about preserving craft as it was. It is about giving it a future. Each piece carries the skill, time, and identity of the hands behind it.
